About Us
Who We Are
A non-profit organization for ecological research, restoration, awareness and education over landscape scale!

Adhiwas Foundation was founded in May 2018 and is registered under charity commissioner.

With ever increasing rates of degradation of natural ecosystems, we wish to bring together conservation, restoration along with research opportunities for wildlife and overall ecology. With experiments and experience of ongoing projects by the founding members, it is evident that ecological restoration combined with integrated landscape approach builds resilience.

The establishment of Adhiwas Foundation is a step forward by founding trustees for filling the gaps in baseline as well as long term studies in the field of ecology, biodiversity, conservation, restoration, and landscape level planning. We also aspire to integrate the international goals such as Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UN Decade of Restoration into practice along with land-based work OIKOS has been doing since 2002 with private landowners.

Adhiwas wishes to take ahead the eco-restoration work over larger, mixed land-use areas along with continuous assessment and field studies.
